Schnepperschütz – The hotspot in summer
Perfect for: Your After-work beer
We waited so long but now it’s finally happening: dearly beloved spring is here! So it’s time to get out in the sun and enjoy a fresh beer or a tasty Spritz. No worries you work will still be there tomorrow 😉
One of our favourite outdoor hotspots in Nuremberg is the Schnepperschütz at the Hallertor. Admittedly, this place is truly not an insider tip. The location is well-known in town and reached cult status.
In a small stone house, they sell Franconian land beers and ‘Weizen’ – both from the draft. Additionally, they have changing Beers of the week from the region. For the Girls, they have Spritz, Hugo & Co. Our Tip: Order the wine per bottle instead of glas wise –bargain!
In case you can’t handle your beer on an empty stomach, grab a fresh organic French country bread with yummy, partly vegan toppings, like humus or beet-root-crème with goat cheese.
If you lucky you can get a table on the Westside of the wall. If not just sit down on the stairs, with a great overview of what’s happening. Or you just get comfy on the meadow in front of the Schnepperschütz and enjoy the hopefully beautiful, long summer.
